Nipped out at the weekend down to Porthcawl to grab a few big wave shots, it was gusting 70 to 80mph so the conditions were fairly challenging .....
Well done, trying to imagine where you were standing? Very dramatic!
Thanks , was standing somewhere I shouldn't have been and soon got moved on by the police
Storm forces !! Jeremy. Dangerous.
Magnificent capture well timed
Wow. Stunning images and you were extremely close. The power of water fascinates me. Great captures. Impressive photography

Great shot v2 for me
Tremendous wave action-- Very exciting images---
thinking about the togger and his camera--- brilliant risks!
Had I known you were visiting I would have popped over.... but then you would have been in my shot as I think I would have added a few hundred mm to my focal length! Bravely captured indeed, Jeremy! I think it's no 2 for me but all are outstanding.
Fantastic waves and fantastic images!
Amazing pictures. But you really should have lashed yourself to the mast first. Even pictures this good aren't worth the risk to your life - and the lives of others...
Does the camera live?
Thanks Dennis and John......the Nikon gear is made of strong stuff John but I wouldn't recommend buying any of my second hand equipment
Not only beautiful, but dramatic and so very invigorating imagery. All three are superb.
Poerful stuff, Jeremy. The darker skies seem to have more drama.
Quote: so the conditions were fairly challenging
British understatement at its best.
A remarkable image, Jeremy, capturing the ferocity and fury at its best.
Outstanding set of images, Jeremy. Stay safe.
Three amazing and great capotures, very well done,

2...1...3 for me.
I can understand your fascination and the danger.
Glad you survived to bring back results like this.
Impressive! I'd have loved to have seen this sea.
Thanks everyone and especially to David and Kate for their awards , very much appreciated
Ann the sea was amazing but because of the high winds and non stop spray you just couldn't point the camera to sea even for a split second
Wow! Amazing, powerful images Jeremy, all three of them! - Superb photography! - Brave man!
