Taken on a trip to Buckstone Edge last week with MikeH. One of the smaller edges on the Pennines. I like how our industrial past is wrapped up in the rugged landscape of the location.
This was taken seconds before the heavens opened and we were deluged with hail, snow, rain you name it.
This is one of the few pictures that my wife likes - and my daughter dislikes, a sure sign it won't do too well ..LOL
This really does benefit from viewing large as you can see the impending storm.
superb drama in this!
Wonderful view! Excellent shot and composition. Your Pf is amazing.
this photo tells a story. Very well done as always.
took a second look in large version. I think this is one of my favorites.
Thanks everyone... It is one of my favorites Jerry it was one of the first images I've printed at A3.
Excellent tones and sky is great
I agree with your wife.
So do I - large version is excellent, like the rain in the distance.
Stunning view. Love the sky.
That incoming deluge makes this shot stand out Nick, wonderful detail ,
Like the dramatic sky and details in this - well captured.
Being waiting for one from here Nick, Mike told me the story last week, its a good un this mate.
How is that printer going and are you posting any others from later that day, you know the place ??
Lucky to be No 30.
This is one of them.................that you can look at for ages...especially in LARGE.
Great comp,detail and depth.
Hi Les, I will be posting some - but not the other location, we were a bit late and I can't get much out of them. The R2400 is great - how's yours ?

A striking image. My wife hates all my shots, not enough people in them for her!
Yes John - my wife says mine are too moody - she prefers the nice blue skys !!
A very striking image...good stuff
LOL I see what you mean. Great minds, though this has rather more drama than mine
Wonderful atmousphere captured Nick.
That's what I like to see - someone suffering for their art!
Belter mate ... hope it wasn't too much of a soaking!!!
