This is a shot I took from a trip to the Lake District 6-7months ago. It's looking towards the Langdales with Hard Knot Pass and the Roman Fort behind me.
A friend, who lives in the lakes, was showing some of the sights but the weather was everything from gale force to torrential rain. We had just about had enough of being rained on and were packing to leave when I noticed the clouds breaking. I saw a burst of light moving across the valley and waited till it streaked across the hillside.
Then, as quick as it had arrived, it was gone and that was it for the day!
