hasn't been much to photograph for a few days but stumbled across this straw hat which seemed interesting to capture

you know what i like about this? that there's nothing to say about it. there's no room for improvement so it doesn't require a real critique. so that only leaves praise and that's too easy, in your case, as you are consistent when it comes to putting out quality work. all the technical elements of a good, solid photograph are present in this seemingly simple image. but the most important thing is your eye for this kind of image. i participate at a number of other sites and haven't seen anybody else who can do what you do and that's impressive.
it's difficult to be unbiased when i comment on your work - as i've told you in the past - because we are friends but i do try to be detached and fair. that's why i only click alot of times and don't say anything! but i think it's safe to say that you are an interesting and unique talent. i truly enjoy your work and love this image to bits. =)
thank you so much c, for the very kind words - i completely appreciate what you say and i love that the image i intend to put out is seen by the viewers how i hoped. i like as well when i put certain images out and people even see things i missed
when i seem to have nothing to capture, i love the challenge to find something and when i do YAY happy dance
