Having eaten most of the grapes and cherries it's now time to move on to the strawberries - and blimey they're seriously tasty - they're really not going to last long Smile

I hope they're English strawberries Ali, much more tasty, especially if grown down here in Somerset Wink Classy image mate.

This is totally superb! The crochet lace is as beautiful as the berries themselves.

Thanks everyone - I've just remembered that I was going to wash that doily - it's got a few pink spots on it now - oops.....

They are indeed English strawberries though Kent ones rather than Somerset. They are definitely superior to the imported jobbies which generally have zero flavour.

I'm delighted that I can be an inspiration Kate - I'm inspired by the Dutch/Flemish still life painters though have yet to produce anything close to their quality - I keep trying though!
