Welcome to ePZ Laura, this is a great start, I can almost taste that! Klicked K.
Welcome, very good first up-load.
The only things I would change are the background has a sight pink cast over it, if you've got Photoshop elements the 'enhance'/'auto colour correction' is very effective at correcting this kind of thing. The only other thing, and I'm being really picky now is that the stem is just a little long and tends to pull your eye out of the picture. All that said it still a very good shot.

Lovely first upload Laura, real texture to the fruit, can almost smell strawberries and cream.

James, that is the point of this site, and your comments are rightfully also very constructive! Don't stop! Without out people like you the site would become a pointless exercise in false praise.
By the way, I think this is an excellent shot, I don't personally have a problem with the pink tint, but do think chopping off the brown end of the stem may have improved it slightly. Perhaps You can still do digitally. With a pale background, a border may also inhance the picture for display on this site.
By the way, its true that adding comments will get you clicks, but your picture has done extremely well with out you having to drum up attention, while other members on this page average 50 comments per a gallery up load to get the same number. I think your image is speaking excedingly well for itself!
