The second offering from my session with those yummylicious Strawberries.
I used a lump of black card to cut out some of the light towards the bottom of the frame & added textures on adjustment layers in Photoshop.
I had a bash at plopping something into the space top right but it really didn't look right with stuff there,I think it balances the subject better as it is & I like the light on the bg.

Thanks for dropping by.
Janet xx

All of your work and fine adjustments paid off big time. This is a classic still life -- wall worthy.

Looks good Jan.

But maybe the whole composition is a little to squished to the left of the frame and the fill flash a tad to eager for its mood.

Bit of space to the left and a dollop of cream would have been great

Those strawberries are so real looking you feel you could reach out and grab one.
Lovely bowl and texturing.

Thanks guys.

Dave, yes, maybe needs just a tad more room to the left to let them 'breathe' a bit more.No fill flash though, just used the light from my windows in the kitchen.
I was trying to avoid dropping cream on 'em,else I wouldn't have got any shots at all ! Wink

Les,I had a whole half an hour with these lush strawberries, until the urge to eat them became overwhelming...half an hour toooo much for my taste buds though Wink
