Lovely shot, fantastic detail maybe would work better with a little more light around the eyes to highlight their detail.
Excellent shot nonetheless.
Ricky.

In an ideal world, a little light picking out her eyes would be a big bonus. In this imperfect world it's a super street portrait - quirky and humorous. She's finding the camera a bit intimidating but returning its gaze not avoiding it.

I did find that with a little contrast adjustment plus ahadow and midtone dodging of the eye area - you could really bring the eyes in to play a lot more. - Cheers Andy

This is the face of someone who has lived a life of struggle and toil with few of the luxuries of modern living-- but still manages to smile and look the world in the eye. Excellent shot.
