This set was produced for a project and was not intended for uploading to EPZ.
I'm running out of images to upload so here they are, eight in total.
I may go with a camera for a few hours today?
The tonings used are Viridon, Gold and Sepia.
A lovely set of buskers! V5 and V6 stand out for me.
Simply superb work and all winners in their own right !
Music......can hear them all !! Ken.
Great work again Ken, your the master at these shots.
These brought a smile to my face - very well processed and taken, my favourite being v6, but it's a difficult choice as they're all so good.
A most interesting set, and not all candids I suspect.
I like the scenario in V3; I suspect the chap in the background is waiting to take over the guitarist's pitch.
V5 is the absolute star though, a rather lovely portrait of an old-fashioned 'folkie' with her concertina; she is probably a singer, too. At a guess she belongs to a band or morris group: the staff on the pavement is part of her costume. I have never seen a concertina supported by a neck-strap; the instrument is large, a baritone perhaps. The lady looks rather jolly and is happy to be photographed.
Interesting. I've looked through these a few times, the set of actual pictures works well, they tell a story, and the sepia tones add a sense of distance. I always prefer yellowish sepia to the muddy pinkish sort.
I'm not so sure about the presentation, the light vignette and ageing effects. In some cases it occupies too much of the frame for me, I'm looking at the edges not the subject. But then I don't have Bill's obsession with musical instruments...
Oh and V3 works best for me.
Good set of shots Ken like the processing v3 v5 v6 standout for me today.
I love this set. It hangs together so well, and such a variety of street musicians. The toning really adds to the atmosphere too.
the processing is good and adds to my mind a fine set Ken V3 would be my winner
Love the processing Ken, the whole set are worthy of their own uploads, but V3 just edges my vote today.
A great set....each one could be a separate upload. I like v6 best, with his honest direct gaze.
One died, and the soul was wrenched out
Of the other in life, who, walking the streets
Wrapped in an identity like a coat, sees on and on
The same corners, volumetrics, shadows
Under trees. Farther than anyone was ever
Called, through increasingly suburban airs
And ways, with autumn falling over everything:
The plush leaves the chattels in barrels
Of an obscure family being evicted
Into the way it was, and is. The other beached
Glimpses of what the other was up to:
Revelations at last. So they grew to hate and forget each other.
So I cradle this average violin that knows
Only forgotten showtunes, but argues
The possibility of free declamation anchored
To a dull refrain, the year turning over on itself
In November, with the spaces among the days
More literal, the meat more visible on the bone.
Our question of a place of origin hangs
Like smoke: how we picnicked in pine forests,
In coves with the water always seeping up, and left
Our trash, sperm and excrement everywhere, smeared
On the landscape, to make of us what we could.
V5 looks happy with it all Ken Excellent set, bet it can get quite noisy in Cardiff, hope they are good at what they do
Brilliant set Ken, love them all but v6 is the stand out shot for me.
Hope you are keeping well.
Not seen that many in years Ken, lol. two or three at the most, interesting set worth the taking like them all, regards leon.
Great series Ken. Some cracking good shots.
My fav from these is the Brothers Finch - great set Ken.
PS. Looking at the V1 thumbnail I thought it was Neil Young.

V1 then V5 for me today...
