More for information than beauty and of course it is somewhat shadowy Smile This plant is also known as Wild Banana here because their leaves resembles those of a Banana plant Smile They belong to the Strelizia family [ Birds of Paradise ]
Thank you to everyone who took the time to comment or vote on my poppy and especially to David for his lovely mod - much appreciated Smile

These are both lovely, Herman. I prefer the composition in V1, but I cannot resist the wasp (?) in V2. Great capture.

I love wasp too so my favourite has to be V2.

My Dutch friend Marijke had these in her garden here in Spain and they are enormous!

Morning H. Unusual flower with an unusual name, V1 looks like a crazy sailboat, V2 like a bird pecking away at the stem.
(or perhaps i'm bonkers and just seeing things). Either way, nice work mate.
