This was taken yesterday in Co Donegal. Did not have much time to capture this as a thunderstorm was rumbling overhead. Minutes later the heavens opened

Many thanks for all your votes and comments on my previous uploads

Great composition might be improved with a slight rotation (although the roof of the building lines up with the picture as you scroll upward - if that makes sense) the lighthouse itself leans slightly to the left

So that's Shroove Lighthouse - very well taken Jim with that storm brewing.
Lush green ferns make a good foreground.
What a pity you didn't get more time to get lots of angles.
Can you get round it? It would look good at sunset but if you're like me
you're always at home then!

A lovely balanced composition, Jim, the grass bank bottom left breaks the foreground up well, and the lighthouse contrasts well against the grey sky. Would be worth cloning out the telephone wires though.

I like the angle and perspective of this. it's really lovely. The rainclouds do add atmosphere to it.

An excellent, moody atmosphere. Lighthouses always look best in bad weather, that is what they are meant for.
I like the at you have included sea and the meadow.
