Many thanks for the c and c on my last upload.

A colleague at work had some copies of old pictures (some from lantern slides). I've enhanced this one slightly, but have no idea of the age of the original.
These were stocks in a local town, where there is a street called Stocks Hill. As far as I can gather stocks weren't used in the UK after the 1870's

What a fun picture!
I have always thought it would be a good idea to bring back the stocks. Public humiliation would be good for some.
