Very up close and personal but he still feels comfortable with me around him

one of the two cubs I saw there last year, grown up and so handsome
How anyone can destroy these magnificent animals I really do not know
there are now approximately only 200 left in the world
the WHF has a world licence to breed and they are on an exchange program
with other known organizations so they have no interbreeding...
then they will eventually let them back into the wild...I hope to see/know this has happened in my time!!

V2 is the fuller image of this crop

Am loving this new lens...need to just go from raw into jpeg
then maybe a crop...simple all these hand held

Thank you Sue for your User Award on the leopard
much appreciated

and to you all for taking a look

Lillian

It is a great lens but any lens is good in your hands Lillian, a beautiful animal and as you say how could you hurt them, lets hope they are able to save these and lots of other endangered animals.

You should love that new lens Lillian, because the clarity of this image is fantastic; I don't know what distance you were from Sumatra, but being able to crop that much and still retain the clarity speaks volumes and displays your skills excellently.

Lillian
Two truly Awesome images, Let's all hope that in the next 50 year images is
[ Not All We Have Left ] A devastating thought, But this could become a Reality,
Million's of people all over the world do what they can and we still seam to be fighting
a losing battle, The world spends Billion's on killing each other, men women & children
And yet thinks that this is Exceptable expense ,[ What chance as Wildlife Got ] A sickening
thought For us all.
