First of all a big thanks to Pete for the EC on yesterdays upload.
I know Ive had a spurt of images lately, but this will probably be the last until June, I've got a lot of preparation for an exhibition (work, not photographic) so any spare time will be with the family, (well maybe a bit of processing).
Anyway to todays image, one from back in January. For more details on the processing please see Pauls recent image for clues
one or two of you I know have seen this "elsewhere".
Hand blend of 7 images - not HDR (or more accurately no tone mapping has been applied)

Beautifully captured and processed Nick. Congratulations on the well deserved awards.
Derek
They are odd aren't they - I first found out about them at a seminar Guy Gowan was doing, he used them for sharpening - the mask stopped halos.
I did an action which takes 3 exposures and puts appropriate masks on them - it usually creates something like the Photomatix "average" exposure blend, so you need to do loads of tweaking. ![]()
Congratulations on the POTW award Nick. Well deserved.
Derek
Congrats on your POTW Nick, a fine image and well deserved mate. ![]()
