Really, for a mobile phone photo, this is an excellent effort. The composition is good and the general atmosphere of the scene comes across well. Nevertheless it does point up the limitations of the equipment in a rather emphatic way. You have done well to avoid burning out the highlights but the shadow areas have lost nearly all detail and appear as a black silhouette. A good DSLR would probably have struggled in much the same way, but might have captured a little more shadow detail - it is hard to tell. There is also some evidence of lens flare and diffraction problems in the sunlit areas.

But I don't want to be too destructive. You have observed a unique and beautiful moment and captured it with whatever camera you had to hand, and that is worth far more than technical perfection. Well done.

Decent mobile phone record. The problem with such images is that it looked much more impressive to the eye than any camera would record it. You need a subject. Something in the foreground to be a centre of interested.
