I was quite pleased with my capture of the beautiful Sunflower as we strolled around the garden centre, until my missus pointed out it was artificial! Doh Sad

Thanks for yesterday's C&C's especially to Jim (Canonfan) for his unexpected but very welcome UA

Still a lovely image Ray, I got caught the other way recently in a garden centre, thought a Red Admiral was fake and got to close, it flew off and was not seen again,

My mate without me knowing, put a photo of a woodpecker on the fence in my garden, i told them all to keep still while i went and got my camera, i then laid on the conseratory floor and took a load of shots. Then the wind caught it and all the people in on it fell about laughing. Brian

Had me fooled too, the only thing giving it away is when viewed large you can see the slight fraying on the petals. Great shot and a great artificial flowerGrin

Well, it's a jolly well crafted copy, Ray: guess i'd have been taken in too.
If you hadn't let on, I doubt if anyone would have been any the wiser.
Ronnie.

Well taken - really deceptive until viewed large! With a lot of patience the bits of 'fringing'could easily be cloned out - and you'd fool even more, if not all of us! Grin

When I was learning macro photography I used artificial flowers for practise.
Good shot anyway.
Loved Brian65's story!
My User Award is a sunflower - someday you'll get that and laugh!
