Second serving from the meet on Sunday and what a fabulous day it was. Still tired.. or is that because I am up off night shift? Anyway.. as there were no clouds to bounce that fabulous warm sun off, I decided to turn round and concentrate on the rocks up on Stanage Edge instead, and capture the warmth being soaked up.
It was -3 when I came over Snake Pass that morning.. this morning on the way home from work it was 11 degrees.. what a difference!!

As good as any shot I've seen from Stanage! Good work.
I'm with you Jeanie, take whatever light is offered and make the most of it!

PS Knackered!
Jeanie,
light is light and we dont see it up here that often, so we have to put up with drissle and dull most times we set off, thats why i know every rock in Padley, so i think sunday was a blast and so much better than if it had drissled. this is really nice light and no clouds are required for me to enjoy it, its great as it is,
regards,
Phil
I love the sun kissed rocks from the early dawn light. A great day out which should be repeated ![]()
John
You do really well with all the time changes and shifts I recall how tiring I found them. Great use of the light here Jeanie, right on the edge as ever.
Dougie
I used to drink the first beer before the fridge door managed to close.
Glowing morning, indeed - fantastically caught on that lovely gritstone, Jeanie.
Thanks John, Martin, Dougie, Lesley, Gill and Carol.
yes Martin - more red stuff at the other end of the day - that must have been your presence encouraging the light. ![]()
Dougie you would think after 22 years, I'd get used to shifts.. sigh.. ![]()
LOL Carol - yes the rug seems to be quite popular on the site lately - quite the four legged celebrity.. I just go along as chauffeur!! hehe..
Jeanie
