Out for sunrise on Sunday morning but didn't get the forecasted conditions at all. Instead, it was another when the clouds obscured the sunrise!

Eventually, the sun did break through, and produced some nice light. However, I decided to make the land the support act to some wonderfully stormy looking skies, and gave the majority of the shot over to the sky.

One of those images that demand and reward close scrutiny, because otherwise there's a risk of overlooking that distant line of trees picking up the light beneath that dramatic sky.
