This was shot at a place called Teenchuley, a tiny little hamlet in Takdah, a little ahead of Darjeeling, the famous hillstation in West Bengal, India. The sun pops out of this hill at around 5.30 am and the first rays fall on the the Himalayan peak Kanchanjungha (just out of the left portion of the frame of this photograph). The best sunrise I've ever seen.
