Yes it was Dave and it is not that rare. I am sure a weather expert could explain why, but we do get some great sunsets when the wind is off the Mediterranean

Really nice shot.
I would of cloned out the bird in center as i saw it straight away and thought it was dust
It does depend at what scale you view it agreed. With the restricted size on here, it may have been a good move to remove it.
