As normal the thumbnail, does not do this justice Bill..great detail in the large and so powerful.

I am unsure of the colouration though...on my monitor the waves have a cast somewhere between blue and magenta...if that is the aim then that is what you have achieved..I did a screen dump and clicked auto colour and for me it was a big improvement...just my onion of course Wink

Well worth a large view and you really get the feeling of power in this Bill.
Do agree with Alan, re the a colour cast on the waves

Cheers all.

Fair comments, Al and Richard. Thanks guys (especially for Al's onion Wink)
I used a Hitech 1.2 solid nd to slow things down a bit. No other filters as it was such a bright day and sky and waves were all within an acceptable dynamic range.
This filter does indeed have a very pronounced magenta cast, which I mostly removed in ACR.
The only other processing (apart from the crop, obviously) was to use the auto adjust facility (not my usual adjustment at all) in ACR followed by a mid-tone contrast tweak and a slight colour boost in photoshop. I agree that there still is a slight magenta cast, but it didn't seem too significant on my screen at home, nor indeed at my (rubbish) work screen that I'm using now.
I may re-visit this one at some point....Smile

Cheers, Willie! Nice of you to drop in!
I'll have a look when I'm not at work.

Although, tbh, the waves don't look too pink on the three monitors I have available....home, work and phone (of the three, the work one is the least good). A bit of a cast, but not so much as at least three of you think.....erm.....Wink

And thanks, Sandy (again!! Smile)
