Apologies for not being around on the site lately. Been rather busy recently. I put this on a week or so ago as a mono image . Many people asked for the colour version so here it is. Many thanks for reecent clicks and comments .All very much appreciated .....Phil
p.s . The 3 or 4 white patches at mid to top left are the remains of the quite deep snow which fell the week before and was still lying in the gullies where the sun was slow to melt it away

Wow this is stunning! I was drawn to this immediately, the lighting is perfect! I hope one day that I can capture a sky like this. Well done Smile

Interesting to see the comparison, but I do prefer the mono - it has a bit more Yorkshire grit about it.

This is a real stunner, Phil, great light and sky. I didn't like the mono, to be honest, but love it in colour.
Glad you said about the snow patches in the previous version, I thought they were something like the chalk horse hill figuresSmile.

I feel this colour version carries far more info and character than the mono, Phil: a delightful Dale image.

Can't chose between them Phil. Contrasty conditions but you've held the detail well. Beautiful Dales image.
