You see thats the trouble with new software... you have to play and the creative side takes over!
So another version of Swanage Old Pier, given some pretty rough handling, the trouble is it quite appeals to me, so although I know a lot of people are going to hate it I am sooooo prepared for it to bomb!
My ethos, whats the point of being creative if you don't share it!
Thank you to everyone that clicked commented or voted on yesterdays upload, I REALLY DIDN'T EXPECT IT TO BE SO WELL RECEIVED.
Have a good day all... Its been a long night Benjamin decided he didn't need sleep and neither did we, I clocked up an amazing hour and a half last night... so I guess todays upload is a pretty good reflection on how I feel.....
Cheers for looking
Mark

love your write up ... and think your creativity is wonderful .. Keep creating I say
Awesome Mark.. This is a stunning image... I bet you ran wild with the software ![]()
Good to play. Perhaps the sky is a bit too mauve for me though. I can see this as a letter box crop with the heavy clouds at the top and some of the sea taken out. That way we concentrate of the lovely curve of the wooden posts which follows the shape of the coast. ![]()

Very dramatic and eye catching, Mark. That's what the software is for. I could see a letter box crop of the middle third as well.

No use having new software and not using it correctly Mark
This is a great shot with good work done on it with your new software
I think you are like me, in that you do not have a lot of faith and confidence in the images that you produce.
Nice work Mark

Yes, first of all my congrats on having the b...s to post this after a bad night.
I usually keep my highly experimental stuff to myself, chickening out ![]()
I might have been tempted to tone the houses as well... apart from that it is great.
Interesting bit of processing: I am never too keen on some of the processed shots I see but this one for some reason clicks with me, suggesting returning light after the dark on a cool winter day.
And it was possibly taken a couple of days back.![]()
