First sorry for all who commented & voted on the last upload - I posted the wrong one (da) The hat had blown bits, this was the corrected version (I will put it in a version so you can see what I mean)

First thanks to all who voted/commented on my last upload, the reception was amazing so a big thank you. It has really given me a buzz to get going again.

There is a big thanks for the inspiration for this - Paul Sutton (Sut68). He probably doesn't remember the conversation as it was extremely brief waiting for an engine to emerge from a tunnel at Grosmont. Its taken a while but I have an image that I'm after. I was torn between the mono and colour so I thought I'd post the mono first - the colour will follow at a later date. I would welcome any comments as this is very much WIP.

That's a man on a mission, great timing to capture the very meaningful gaze.
Thanks for recent comments, by the way - but alas the bottle of wine was out of my hands so to speak...

Glad you seem to have got the bug back again Nick.

I've been without my Sigma 10-20 for about a month, but thanks to Richard Wheeler who has lent me one of his lenses, I've still managed to get out once or twice. He also lent me his spare 20D body when my 40D went back to Canon a while back. What i'm driving at, is that EPZ is a great little community that can help when times are a little tough, and that there are friends around when you need them.
