The Devon County Show on Friday with half a dozen farriers competing in the shoeing area. It was a hot day and these guys were working hard by their furnaces.

Thanks for your attention, your comments are always appreciated.

I like the strong graphic quality to this image. The contrast helps convey feelings of strength, effort and sweat - literally and metaphorically.

A gritty men-at-work image, David, love the sweat dripping off his nose. Without the logo on the t-shirt, it would be quite timeless.

I'm very, very envious of this. Intense concentration and effort. Gritty b&w conveyes the strength involved. I think I'd like to see more of the face top left, because this is about cooperation between the two, but that's being picky.

Excellent capture, David, could only be done in mono couldn't it? Super bit of processing.
