One day I might play with creating a background, but I like the simplicity of the white.

I agree with Barbara about the background, I think it allows better appreciation of the colour and structire of the flowers, especially the veining in the petals.

Clean, simple. Given the white light showing through the translucent petals I'd be very wary about adding a background.

Lovely shot !!!!......I've added a very simple mod., in keeping with the white b/g, by fading the bottom of the stem into the b/g. !
