A selection of images of the different species of butterflies I've seen at Swelshill Bank and Rodborough Common near Stroud this spring and summer. Looking back over the year I've been fortunate to see a number of different varieties including some nationallly rare ones. Swelshill Bank and Rodborough Common are managed by the National Trust and over 50% of the UK's native butterflies have been recorded there.
