My daughter enjoying a day at the park.

I was using my new prime lens and was trying to get good facial detail and add some sense of movement, plus capture her expression the higher she went!

I went for black and white because it seemed to work better than the colour where the green background detracted from Georgia.

Any comments welcome - I've been away a while!

You've caught your daughter brilliantly here Matt.
The delight on her face made me want to laugh with her. GrinGrin
The B&W works (for me too)

I suspect that you may be advised that you would have been better with a portrait shot, rather than landscape, so that Georgia has space to swing into. (I regularly forget where to allow space relative to the subject when composing)

As Jack says , you've caught your litle girl's mood brilliantly and I too like the use of B/W.
And as Jack also says, I think that a portrait might be an idea.
So I've uploaded one!

Bren.

Edit. With hindsight and plenty of careful cloning, you could replace the white patch in the top right.
It doesn't bother me on here but I think it becomes a distraction in my mod.
Just a thought.

A fine shot and good test of your lens. Depth of field spot on and mono works. I would crop in dramatically with just her and the swing - background not necessary - it's obvious what she is doing.
