Something a little different tonight.
An action shot while you're all watching Olympic Opening Ceremony.
This was taken at The Gardening Scotland Exhibition where there
was a Pipe Band and some Highland Dancing.
Plenty more flower pics but don't want to bore you.
Thank you for votes for Clematis Chantilly.
Kate

Good crop, Kate, and well timed for the classic pose.

I was watching the opening ceremony Kate,
and was surprised to hear of some ''sports'' I have never heard of before.
Should have Highland Dancing in it I reckon !!
Good shot.
Mick.

Good capture and it looks as if it's a man doing the dancing too - don't tell me I'm wrong please. It's great to see highland war dancing not being done by a wee lassie.

Excellent! It's a very difficult subject (trying to keep the feet within the view-finder, for a start) and you've got an image that works as a composition, as well as conveying the dance. He's almost caught in mid-air, while his sword remains solidly on terra firma.
