No rust tonight, just a simple little knotty one I thought.
(Albeit,it is that cheap tacky plastic stuff !!)
Granny knot ot wotknot or a "tack bend" to match tacky plastic
or a good one for "hitching up your breeks. Good g(reef)thinkmI'm trying too hard.
It is certainly bright.
Good one Mick……
Hopalong Chastity would turn in his grave if he saw the quality of rope available for lasso's these days Mike - good shot though ...Bill
I WANT some of this rope--- splendid colors and great contrasts in the image!
for a moment I thought you were starting a double act...but then the front end of your horse seems to have bolted
It's knot what i expected from you Mick.
Rust? 'Frayed knot
hard to keep the eyes off it electric neon
just what we needed on this damp morning - bright colour different to the days offerings re weather
You seem at the end of your rope, I'm a-frayed...
[By the way, I believe the French maid's name would be spelt 'Fluffez' ]
Super image Mick, great colours and textures, like this one a lot
Your uploads somehow bring out the best (or the worst... ) in your admirers' comments...
I was thinking, Blimey, Compo's trousers have gone psychedelic...
Why has somebody added a stripe of white paint to the strands of the rope? Are they hiding something? Some real rope at the core, perhaps?
I dunno, I s'pose if you can have wire wool you can have plastic rope, after all.
Have you noticed how I sometimes get my arguments tied in knots ?
What day is it?
Which way is up?
Are these my feet?
give a man enough rope.............. It's good to see that you have taken your photography in a new direction Mick. I can remember the days when you just used to photograph rust but now that the government are trying to put VAt on that you've moved on. I like a man who experiments......
I see you are fighting with light on this image..
A few burn out areas...
Other wise great detail...
A great composition Mick Love the vivid colour
No rust?! Well, it's just knot good enough, Mick! A well seen shot, though you could hardly miss seeing that vivid colour!
that is green!
love that green against the timber it really stands proud, nice detail
It's very green, as has been noted. But that's what gets ya right in the eye, and that's what makes this particularly effective.
Re your "hair" remark on my own upload, if you have any pics of yourself back in the day, I could use a laff ........
wonderfully bold image
I'm just wondering who you've got tied up on the other side of the Tree Mick
Nicely done, that green is . . . well, that green
Hawser bout that for a change in direction, but I'm knot surprised, it's all a-cord-ing to plan!
No rust? Be still my heart.
I like the diagonal composition here and the detail in the wood is very nice.
That string's rather a violent colour Mick. I think I'd rather have rust. Nice shot.
You certainly got this one tied up nicely Mick . A different direction for you on this one.
Someone nicked the rust in here!
No,only kidding, it is a nice rusty colour!
You been nicking washing lines Mick. Nice splash of vivid colour here.
If your neighbour realises that you've pinched her clothes line it could be the end of the line for you and your last post! lol
'Excellent color, tonality, pin-sharp details, textures, & Compo,' Mick~~
