Air France taking off from Princess Juliana Airport, St. Martin, Caribbean. The Brtish island of Anguilla can ve seen on the horizon in some of the captures. The runway at this airport is 2.7 km long, they use every inch when taking of...I find it al ittle hair raising! .....p.s. will be on the flight on Friday...

A wonderful set Jonathan. I once sat in a plane on St. Martin waiting six(!) hours before take-off. It was raining and they asked people to get off the plane to make it lighter - appently it had someting to do with the runway being too slippery...
