My thoughts too much sky.. and could do with a little more space infront of the plane, creating a space to fly into. Maybe a lift on the shadows as well to give more detail to the under carriage

I think that this is a shade underexposed. The histogram falls quite well short of the RHS.
I've used curves to adjust this and I've also cropped it slightly.
Personally, I'm not concerned re. allowing more space in front of it but that is subjective.
Hope this helps.

Bren.

Very good shot. Like the inclusion of the runway marker. As mentioned, a touch underexposed, so added my mods to the mix. Cropped a little from the left, added a little to the right. Mod2 removes some sky for a more panoramic look as Geoff suggested.

A decent record but it is under exposed and needs brightening up. Otherwise, I don't mind the composition and airfield furniture - that is as it is and this is a record shot.

The aircraft, although pictured very well indeed needs to be a bit higher in the frame with space allowed to the right for it to fly into (so to speak). I would love to see this against a nice blue sky and given your predeliction for aircraft, I am sure we will see it soon. Mybe with a slower shutter speed and 'panning' to give some speed effect.y
