Nash Point at sunrise, sadly no clouds or drama........
Perfect timing, an image to be proud of.
Love this place Jeanie...nice one Taff
Thanks Ivor and Alan..
Isn't that really irritating - you put all the effort in and the clouds don't turn up.
Still a good image - good light and colour on the cliff and a nice reflection.
Cheers Geoff.. Luckily I was staying at my dads and he is only 1/2 hr drive away..and it was before the clocks changed so I didn't have to get out of bed too early
Great composition, wonderful light and tones, very well taken and presented,
Fantastic shot.beautiful reflection and details.....
Nice bit of light Jeanie, alway a landscapers issue in terms of clouds either too many or none.
Who needs the drama, the detail in this shot provides its own. Terrific
You chose your position so well here Jeanie, the first crack of dawn striking the top of the cliff wit that red light.
Thank you Saeid, Tomasz, Ayoob, Richard, Mark and Dougie.
looks like it fell to earth this Red coloured rock in a sea of greys, a great image the sunlight really picks up the colour, love the stillness of the reflection, a great image Jeanie love it
Beautifully gentle Jeanie, a joy to be out I'm sure !!
Brilliant comp jeanie , Love how the light just catches the tip of the rock , Great shot .
Lovely comp with that reflection, a beauty to have captured the light on the tip.
I was thinking exactly the same thing as Mark. This monolith provides its own special drama.
Nice shot. The light and colour are superb...Derek
It's bold it's grand it's a super capture, I like this a lot.
Thank you Chris, Ron, Tez, Ant, Joline, Derek and John.
Nice bit of light just touching the point, shame the clouds stayed away !
There's always next time ...
Quote: Nice bit of light just touching the point, shame the clouds stayed away !
And that touch of light is all thats needed to really lift the image.
Thanks Derek.. I was a bit (!) pleased, got to say, when I saw that light appearing.
No clouds perhaps, but the stark clarity has its own magic.
Excellent shot capturing the mood of the place very well.
