Morning all. This is Tamozawa Imperial Villa which was built in 1899 for Emperor Taisho. It would have been the equivalent of Chequers is in UK. The villa has now been gifted to the nation and is part of a memorial park. At 4500 square metres it has 106 rooms, and is set in beautiful gardens. This is one of the biggest wooden structures in Japan, and has great cultural value as it has many beautiful paintings on wood inside. Thanks for C&Cs on yesterday's upload.
