Thanks early birds. Rod, the composition was very carefully considered, for the lines that I wanted to include and the distractions that I wanted to exclude. And I have been working very hard on my b&w, thanks for noticing!
Moira
Good tones with steely blacks ..the writing on the wall adds to this capture pleased you left it in.
John
Strong blacks and contrast with the writing that takes you from corner to corner.

Just got back here, thanks to everyone who has called in today.
Quote: I'm sure you must have mentioned it before, but I'm wondering what was stored in them.
Quote: I wonder what they carried inside.
Quote: Well, I see that i am not the only one who does not know what these things are
Quote: I'm not sure what they are either Jenn - but I do know that they're wonderful paraphernalia which make up our old train system
As far as I am aware they are milk churns, and would be marked with the name of the station to which they were regularly delivered.
They are painted green, I found them much more attractive in b&w.
Cheers everyone,
Moira
Excellent Mono again Moira, some great subject matter here.
John.
