This is the Tangmere running the Scarbough Spa Express last week over the half term holidays, I have upload 3 version of the same engine all taken on a high ISO to get a fast shutter speed (weather not great)
Version 1 was taken just out side York on 27th May while the Tangmere was heading to York.
Version 2 taken the same night at Hammerton Station where it's slows down to pick up token to travel on a single track it was about 9.10m with drizzle.
Version 3 taken at Colton Junction the Tangmere heading towards Leeds from York 2 days later, not the best quality photo as it was raining but I still thought it was worth uploading
Version 4 uploaded for Lucy it's V2 but boarder free

I'm very impressed with V2 as well, for the beautiful light, and V1 is my second favourite, lovely composition.
Nice set of pictures. V2 stands out for me, although I'm not sure that the border is quite the right colour - it seems to steal the limelight.
I'd love to see it in a starring role!

V4 for me - the dark atmosphere and red glow sit much better against the black background without the distraction of the frame.

I go for the twilight drama of #4, too - while I like #2, the border is too heavy for my taste. A fine set of captures, Glynnis.
