Tantalising Tulip

Good Evening All

Hope you are all coping with the drought conditions imposed on us!!!! Frankly I am fed up of getting soaked every time I walk outside

My picture tonight was taken at the beautiful gardens of Leeds Castle back in February, the weather was cold but sunny, and the light was a bit iffy.....this tulip was under a tree, but had some sunlight on it. All year round the gardens are fantastic, and in the spring time, the flashes of the beautifully coloured tulips are breathtaking. I really liked this creamy coloured tulip, with it's wonderful sunny centre. This is straight from the camera, have cropped it square and sharpended slighty.......oh, and I have experimented with the background colour.....hope you like it

We have been hoping to return to Leeds Castle in the last few weeks as they have an amazing display of Rhododendrons, sadly though the weather has been so wet and windy we have probably missed them this year.
