Sadly I need to be giving my full attention to editing some wedding shots at the moment, so this will be my last upload for a little while, but I'll be back as soon as I can.
The last of the young Tawny Owls, and again one shot with just two different crops to choose from.
As I shot this with a more traditional portrait style and the focus on just the near eye, I thought I'd put the head and shoulder crop up front, which to my mind better fits the style.
All feedback welcome and thank you for all the comments and captions on the less serious shots from the weekend ![]()

Thankyou all for the comments.
They tend to be a little nervous, just where they respond to any sound. Despite being birds of prey, they're quite vulnerable to attacks from other birds, particularly when they're this age.
But I do think they take on quite a different sleeker look when stretched out like this and lose that ball of fluff feel.
Thanks Carol and I will try not to be too long. But I have failed badly at keeping up both at once and feel my friends wedding shots ought to take precedence - iffy, but I may even persuade them to let me upload a few!

A fitting finale to this wonderful series Tim, I also prefer V1 although it was difficult to choose!
Haste ye back, as they say!
Carol
You can't not like these fluffy creatures, can you? Another cracker, Tim, has to be the cropped V1 for me.
