Ever since the Critique Buddies Macro Challenge, I have become a little obsessed with Macro Photography.

This started out as an experiment and after far too many hours has now developed into a series of shots.

It is NOT photoshop, this is straight out of camera (obviously some titles and frame added).

It is a close up of the surface of a bubble.

I must thank Charlotte and Phil for their time today, spent hours there attempting to perfect this technique and introduced them to the wonderful world of 'Bubble Shooting', had a great day and got some great shots. They were still taking them after I left, so they must have enjoyed it.

I have written a detailed tutorial on how to do this, which Pete has edited and uploaded to the site here.

Anyway, I hope you like it because I have loads to upload over the next few years probably Wink

Love this! It combines lots of my favorite things, bubbles, water, macro and abstraction!

Critique buddy stuff - Not sure what to say really. Very unusual. Great colours. Great abstract. Not sure whether or how this could be improved, perhaps playing with different crops? Well done for producing something different!

Crit Bud stuff:

Very different and looking forward to reading how you did it when the tutorial comes out! Not sure how to crit it really. However I think I would try a tighter crop to remove the OOF bits on each side. What are the black bits?
