The Telegraph Station was built in 1859 and housed operators, their families and the telegraph operations rooms.

Thanks for looking.

If you can get into it, is there a cable connecting to Cornwall?
I saw a TV documentary recently about telegraph cables going from a small building in an isolated cove on the Cornish coast all over the world. Fascinating.

Lovely pic too.
Cheers, Goggz

Good shot Peter, it looks very lonely and desolate.
