Following yesterday's Temenos image I've now moved closer to a point where I am looking down the central axis of the construction - a very large ground mounted ellipse connected by a tube of stainless steel mesh to another ellipse mounted high up. If you have time there is much more detail to be seen when viewed large!
You might think that the closer ellipse is a circle, but the second image (taken looking in the opposite direction) will show you that this is an illusion created by the fact that it is not mounted vertically but is inclined quite steeply towards my vantage point (which was between the ellipse and the bridge).
For me the real interest was aroused by the close up detail - I'll start with that tomorrow!
Thanks for your time - as you know I really do appreciate feedback!
