Three fine images, Nezih, and it does seem to work so well in black and white with v2.

V3 works best for me - broader context plus the detail of the inscription.

This is as good as a tour of the ancient world! I can even make out "Athena" in the inscription, though a passing acquaintance with the alphabet is as far as my Greek goes . . .
Simply fascinating.
I think my preference is for V3: it's a lovely composition and shows us better how carefully the Ancients used their eye for beauty and proportion before choosing the site for this temple.

Bill

I see this works well in color too--sharp, ckear and well exposed-- I like that one can read the inscriptions---enjoyed!

I also like all three, and especially v3 for the wider view, but the mono is my pick of this lot. Smile

The digitally reproduced colour adds a modern twist, whilst the monochrome is a timeless classic.

You are so lucky to have these monuments on your doorstep! The whole set is wonderful, but my favourite is v1 as there's a feeling of being behind the scenes and looking out. It's magic Nezih!
