I took this back in April. It's the outlet from a couple of ponds near to where I live.
It ain't quite as tame as this at present.
Thanks for looking.

Love the mono, it really gives the water movement a great look and the stick breaks up the water flow up to the waterfall very nicely - well deserved EC

Just got back from a run and . . . .CorBlimey!

Thank you all very much.
'Tis a simple shot and the kind of thing that I enjoy taking.

Pete, I'm chuffed to bits with my first EC - inspirational or what.

The mix if movement and stillness works well. I like the areas where the stick and water meet.
Congrats on the EC

Many congratulations on the EC Dave, it's certainly a striking piece, although I would have preferred it without the shadow effect...

Cheers Rob, yeah, makes it even more enjoyable. Thanks Penny, I do spend far too long composing this sort of shot. I guess that's why I prefer flat, unchanging light.
Thanks Dave and I know what you mean about the border shadow. I often struggle to create a suitable one and have uploaded some serious clunkers since being on EPZ!
