I use Silver Efex Pro plugin for mono conversions. It's not cheap, but it is very good. Silver Efex Pro 2 I wouldn't recomend the 15 day trial... you will buy it at the end!Wink Thanks for the comment.

Many thanks to the Guest Ed and Ed for the awards, as well as the viewer votes. If I knew that a grab shot of a bloke oiling a train while I was having an argument (not uncommon) with my wife would improve my photography, then I'd argue with her more often...Wink

Just looking at your image, the B&W printing is superb! If it was me I would under expose the image be a stop or two using the shutter speed. If you have an off flash, place it behind the subject this will creating a halo around the engineer.
