After yesterdays plans for a location shoot went wrong, we moved onto a 2nd location, a disused railway line. We had just set up on the tracks when we heard a tooting noise and people piled up behind us asking if this was where the steam train was coming. About a minute later we were off the tracks and the train was rolling past. Another plan foiled. Still I decided to grab a couple of lighting test shots as the train past us and I really like the way this one turned out.
The model was unposed, about to take her coat off to model the designers dress that we there to capture and tghis was my very first pic of the day - possibly my favourite too. After this the train went, and we set up on the tracks again, but my lights kept blowing over smashing my equipment despite being weighted down.

I do like the coat and the lighting in B&W, looks totally vintage.
