...Actually she might have been after I was trying to get a clearer shot, as her mate bounced her to the next flower! Whooops!
Out and about with my son yesterday at College Lake, enjoying the fresh air and the Damselflies darting around us like faeries, and me cursing his phone, that he could get right up close to (choice words were uttered profusely
) without scaring the insects! Grrrrh. Although, the fits of laughter from the jibbing banter could have scared off most of the insect population... I did manage to get up pretty close and take a clear shot (handheld of course) of this mating couple. No privacy when I am around! ![]()

Haaha, unashamedly, I managed to get 31 in the Karma Sutra too!
As Niknut quite rightly pointed out I am becoming a bit of a perve, hanging around in bushes!! ![]()

Beautifully photo as always. Like the equal emphasis on the surroundings as well as the critters. Makes a lovely composition. Though I admire the close ups of all parts of insects it makes a nice Chang to see them in their environment. Well done
Elaine
Looks good composition, shame you did not have a monopod for better sharpness, though you may have a steadier hand than mine?
They are in an unusual position too, say no more. ![]()
Good shot!
