“It is not so much for its beauty that the forest makes a claim upon men's hearts, as for that subtle something, that quality of air that emanation from old trees, that so wonderfully changes and renews a weary spirit.” - Robert Louis Stevenson

The more and more I experiment with my flower images, the more I actually enjoy it. I always thought I'd just shoot people/portraits but along the way I've also been shooting bits n bobs with a view at somewhere and somepoint in time being able to do something with them. Trying to give this cloud some silver lining - my looming surgery is meaning that I can take a step back from shooting with models to re-editing some old work that has never made it out of my hard drive. I hope you enjoy.

An aqualegia seed head. Dead, dormant and yet theres a harvest of seeds inside. Like it.

The thumbnail doesn't do it justice here, but viewed large this is just splendid. Beautifully arty piece.
