Yes, it's that tree again given a little 10 stop treatment earlier in the year.
A very nice interpretation of "That Tree" with the sepia tint......you can see just how dry it has been when it is standing so clear of the water's edge.
Cracking shot and mood in this Phil but it is very oversharpened as theres a white line running right around the tree.
That tree ... but well photographed and well presented.
a thoroughly excellent piece of work again Phil
i see the oversharpening too but it's still a magnificent image. =)
Andy/Carmen, your right about the oversharpening but it was deliberate.... usually I only sharpen with "smart sharpen" for images uploaded to the web, but on this occasion I didn't think it worked like I expected, so I hit the Sharpen function first then the Smart Sharpen....it was all about getting the tree to come to life!
Thanks for your constructive comments, appreciated.
like the smooth water and sky with the crispiness of the tree. lovely light in the sky.lesley
Hauntingly beautiful....love the light and presentation!
stunning capture nice one
Stark reality in the tree as suggested ~ Sometimes rules are broken for a reason and linked with backdrop on this occassion it works Admirably.... Hence 31 Votes!
Wow! I love this!
