Just a landscape version of the highly contested tree in Loch Lomond at the Rowardennan meet. This was another in the infamous ISO 800 b*lls up from the Sunday unfortunately Sad

Always remember to "Zero Out" the camara before the shoot...

The noise is only really obvious in the sky Katy. We had good light that afternoon didn't we?

Great shot. About the ISO - never apologise and never explain. Use the experience to see what positives you can get from it. It wasn't a b*lls up just a different way of seeing!

As Nigel says it's just the sky that has the noise. Go back in and make a layer, add just a little gaussian blur and then erase the layer so that the blur only applies to the clouds. Make your blur so that it is just enough to smooth the effect of the grain.
alternatively make it a gritty mono.
Cheers,
Dad

Ohh, we all have been there, I guess, with the ISO thing I mean!

Great shot - with that wonderful gold light. It is hard now to convince everyone that the weather was very bad during that meet. Wink
