My interpretation of this oft photographed tree at Milarrochy Bay, L. Lomond, with the hills behind Luss in the background.
The photo was taken on the same day as my last posting and I had to wait for light to break through the extensive cloud cover.
(The hills are: Beinn Ruisig behind the tree, Beinn Eich the conical hill just to R of centre, and Beinn Dubh to the right)

Details: ISO 500, 1/125 sec. at f/18.0 with Exp. Bias of -0.33 and with 0.6 ND Grad. (No processing was involved other than to correct a 1 degree tilt and subsequent crop).

Many thanks to all who commented on and voted for "Light and Shade"......all very welcome.

Ronnie.

I never tire of these lone tree shots Ronnie.
A splendid take with the BG.
Super colours too.
And what is all this about a one degree ?
Back in the 70s,I saw the three of them in the Edinburgh Playhouse !!

Morning Ronnie. You've produced a cracker here - like the way you've thrown the tree into silhouette and the wisps of low cloud on the distant hills. Last time I was at Milarrochy Bay was about 15 years ago and in our camper van. Thanks for the memories. Paul
